こんにちは、 I’m trying to use your app to study Japanese. I have my files in a folder on my iPhone in MP3 format. When I try to add the files the app only goes to Apple music files. Is there a way to browse to a file?
Hi Beth,
Thank you for trying Repete — I’m really glad to hear you’re using it to study Japanese!
Yes, you can add MP3 files stored on your iPhone into the app.
To do so, please go to the “Song Selection” screen in the app, then:
App Folder tab → tap the button with three dots (⋯) → choose “Import Files”
This will open the iOS Document Picker.
At the bottom of the Document Picker, you’ll see three tabs: “Recent”, “Shared”, and “Browse”
Please select “Browse”
In the “Browse” view, tap the button with three dots (⋯) in the upper right corner, then select “Edit”
There, you can enable different storage locations such as “iCloud Drive”, “Drive”, or “On My iPhone”
Make sure “On My iPhone” is turned on — this will allow you to browse and select MP3 files that are stored locally on your device.
Once it’s enabled, you should be able to navigate through folders on your iPhone and import the audio files into Repete.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any trouble — I’ll be happy to assist further.
Best regards,
Mitsuru
